The Project is to install three (3) Turbine / Compressor packages on the existing PTT Riser Platform (PRP). The PRP is located in the Erawan field in the Gulf of Thailand. The gas, gathered at the PRP from a number of offshore fields, are fed to PTT’s Gas Separation Plants in Rayong in free-flow condition via the 3rd Gas Transmission Pipeline. As other new gas fields will be available soon this project will increase delivery capacity of gas volume. The project will also add a new 3 MW, medium voltage Gas Turbine Generator for a back-up power source to the existing generator.
The 3 Gas Turbine/Compressor units have been purchased by PTT and stored at a warehouse in Sriracha. The EPC Contractor is responsible for transportation them to their fabrication yard and subsequently ship to the PRP.
Fluor Daniel Eastern, Inc. has been awarded by PTT a Project Management and Engineering Consultancy (PMC) Contract. The PMC is responsible for Project Management which include review detailed design engineering, project planning, contract administration, quality control, HSE monitoring and audit, construction management and commissioning.
