PROJECT DESCRIPTION

2005 - 2010

The Project is to install a new Acid Gas Removal Unit (AGRU) and a new Ethane Recovery Unit (ERU). The project site is next to Gas Separation Plant No. 2 and No. 3 within the existing PTT property in Map Ta Phut, Rayong.The Project is to include:

Front End Engineering Design has been completed by PTT. Fluor Daniel Eastern, Inc. has been awarded by PTTLNG a Project Management and Engineering Consultancy (PMC) Contract. The PMC is to perform the services in 2 phases. In Phase I the PMC is responsible to provide support in the selection of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor. In Phase II the PMC will be responsible for Project Management which include general project management, engineering management, procurement management, construction management, contract administration, project controls and commissioning.
Span provided local engineering and administration supports for both Phase I and II.
