ENCO Combined Heat and Power Plant Project
Our company served as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the ENCO Combined Heat and Power Plant Project, a significant industrial undertaking for Combined Heat and Power Producing Co., Ltd. (CHPP) in Bangkok. This project, valued at 390,880,000 Thai Baht, involved the installation of a small cogeneration power plant designed to supply electricity and chilled water to the nearby ENCO building, with surplus power exported to the Metropolitan Electricity Authority's 24 kV grid. Our contract for this project, completed between September 2011 and July 2013, was 14,650,000 Thai Baht.
Our comprehensive PMC role encompassed the entire project lifecycle. We were responsible for preparing the Feasibility Study Report and the Basic Engineering Package, laying the foundational technical groundwork for the plant. Following this, we developed the Tender Document Package and provided crucial assistance to CHPP throughout the tendering process, ensuring the selection of a suitable contractor.
Finally, we oversaw the appointed contractor's activities, including detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This end-to-end involvement ensured that the project, which included the installation of two 3.5 MW Gas Engine Generators, two 650 TR Absorption Chillers, waste heat recovery systems, and associated electrical infrastructure, was executed efficiently and met all technical and operational objectives.
