PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PTTLNG plan to upgrade the existing Berth No. 3 at Map Ta Phut LNG Terminal. The berth has been designed for reloading small LNG vessels with maximum capacity of 2,500 m3 LNG ( 65 m overall length, 6.5 m draft ). The Project is to upgrade the berth to accept the largest small-scale carriers under limiting environmental conditions.

Based on FEED Study, the largest LNG Carrier that can be navigated and berthed at Berth No. 3 under the limiting environmental conditions will have an overall length of 140 meters with a maximum draft of 8.5 meters.
